Katherine is joining Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow. She graduated from Rutgers University in October 2017 with Ph.D. in chemistry under Dr. Tewodros Asefa. Her background is in designing and synthesizing inorganic-organic hybrid nanocatalysts for fuel cell application. She is expert in synthesis and characterization of nitrogen-doped or nitrogen-functionalized catalysts with metal nanoparticles.
