Udishnu, a postdoctoral research associate, has research experience in materials chemistry and nanomaterials. His doctoral thesis from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, focused on the development of green and sustainable synthetic routes to a variety of metallic and bimetallic (core-shell, alloy, supported metal NPs) nanoparticles, probing their growth behavior using several spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, including in situ transmission electron microscopy techniques. As a postdoctoral research fellow at Technische Universität München, he gained experience in heterogeneous catalysis, investigating the reaction kinetics and mechanism of electrocatalytic hydrogenation of biomass derivatives to their fuel analogs.
